Winterbourne House and Garden
Winterbourne House and Garden is a rare surviving example of an early 20th century suburban villa and garden. Built for industrialist John Nettlefold in 1903 for his growing family, the house and garden are now open to the public 7 days a week with a range exhibition rooms offering an insight into Edwardian life both above and below stairs.
A beautiful wisteria framed terrace provides views over 7 acres of Arts and Crafts designed garden and the terrace tea room is a wonderful place to treat yourself to lunch or afternoon tea. The garden itself offers colour and interest throughout the year and is home to a beautiful walled garden and many original features.
