There are a wide range of courses and activities you can participate in and enjoy learning a new skill, from sports to gardening, arts and crafts to cooking courses.
Botanical Gardens offers adult learning courses on horticultural and photography, as well as education services for schools.
VIEW VENUE INFORMATIONYou can enjoy a picnic, or walk or cycle around beautiful Cannon Hill Park taking in the range of trees and plants on offer, or go and feed the ducks on the pond, and for those with younger children there is a great play area. In addition, you can have a wonder around The Village, Edgbaston and Calthorpe Estates, taking in the array of period buildings and leisure destinations on offer.
VIEW VENUE INFORMATIONLearn how to play ‘golf’ and ‘association’ crocket at Edgbaston Crocket Club. There are 3 full sized lawns and anyone is welcome to pop down and try it out with a free introductory session, just phone to make the arrangements.

VIEW VENUE INFORMATIONFancy a game of golf in a stunning course, that is just a mile from the city centre, then look no further than Edgbaston Golf Course. The members club is open to non-members, with a selection of weekday and weekend tee off times. Afterwards you can enjoy a drink in the bar or meal in the restaurant, or pop in to The Village, Edgbaston.
VIEW VENUE INFORMATIONWant to see world-class female tennis players in action, then why not pop down to Edgbaston Priory Club and enjoy the AEGON Birmingham Classic, which takes place at the end of June each year. A range of tickets and hospitality packages are available. After the tennis is over, why not pop down to Highfield Road in The Village and enjoy a cocktail or bite to eat.
VIEW VENUE INFORMATIONAt the MAC learn a range of skills from jewellery making, pottery, sculpting, drawing and painting, making books and clothes, IT and computer skills, film editing, writing, playing a musical instrument, as well as a range of craft making courses.

VIEW VENUE INFORMATIONAt Winterbourne Gardens you can do a number of half or one day courses. They range from learning to grow better vegetables, beekeeping, through to willow weaving.
